Teddy Bears Christmas Service Project

Teddy Bears Christmas Service Project
Each December, American Heritage School in American Fork, Utah, holds its annual Teddy Bears for Christmas Service Project for the Ogden Rescue Mission.  They ask every able student to bring a NEW teddy bear (teddy bears only) that can be easily carried by a homeless child.

You are invited to participate as well.  If you would like to do so please enter the main entrance on west side of bldg. by front office (the school is just east of Mt. Timpanogos LDS Temple.) The bears will be placed under the Christmas trees in the center court of the school.

To prepare for this event, we ask that every able student donate a new teddy bear of small enough size (under 24 inches) that it can easily be carried by a homeless child. Please bring new teddy bears only… and bears only, please! The bears will be placed under the Christmas trees in the center court.

Parents may join us on Friday, December 16th, first thing in the morning for our all school Christmas Sing, followed by a devotional at 9:30 a.m. and then a “hugging” line send-off for each bear. Bring a camera!  In keeping with the spirit of sacrifice associated with this very special project, we ask that every child try to earn their own money for the bear they will donate.  Thank you for your generosity!

Questions? Contact Angela Johnson, our parent organization team leader for this project, at angelschef@yahoo.com. Thank you for your generosity!
