“REMEMBER” – Veterans Day Devotional at AHS!
President Spencer W. Kimball taught that the word “remember” may be the most important of all words in human language. Remembering our blessings, and the sacrifices of those who went before us, stems the pernicious spirit of entitlement, and engenders a culture that is “drenched in gratitude.”
“And now, O man, remember, and perish not.” (Mosiah 4:30)
This coming Thursday, November 8, we will celebrate Veterans Day with morning devotionals, including visits from servicemen, as follows:
- 7–12 Assembly, North Auditorium from 8:20–9:05 a.m.—Paul Waldron, Iraq/Afghanistan judge advocate (lawyer).
- 1–6 Assembly, Recreation Hall from 8:40–9:10 a.m.—Lowell Dayton, former WWII destroyer crewman in the Pacific.
We invite all our Family School and Online School students and families to join us for this inspiring devotional.
